What’s in a Name? said Shakespeare.…. well, we say all is in the name, after all, its about the identity and what it stands for whether a place, person or a thing, say for instance, our newly built RILEY STUDIOS.

Taking back to where it started, and we tell you how this project was named. Whilst the underpinning works were in progress, our workers explored something unusual & unlooked for. They discovered a uniquely strange looking box under the floor bed lying alongside the debris. 

Upon opening up this box a note was found, and it took us over 100 years back into history. The Note read- ‘’This document was placed here on the 12th day of December of year 1903 by JH Riley, W Trew, Sam Richmond, Bricklayers, Mothers Larry & Back Shit.’’ (Its unknown who back shit is), However it was clear that one of the Bricklayers was J H Riley and the note was possibly written by him.

So as a tribute to these men, who laid the foundations of this wonderful building, it has been named RILEY STUDIOS.

This project originally had a  ground + 2 floors, wherein we demolished the internal Core and re-erected an RC frame within with 2 additional floors extension totalling 6 floors including basement. The project was quite challenging in terms of temporary works to retain existing façade , cantilever scaffoldings and Mechanical services.  

This commercial space has been recently launched and is designed to reflect sustainability, Efficiency & Urbanism.
