This project involves the construction of a new purpose-built Orthodox synagogue in North London. The works include the demolition of the existing building and the development of a new structure incorporating a double-storey basement, ground floor, and three additional storeys above street level.

The synagogue has been carefully designed to provide both spiritual and highly functional spaces. The interior features a main prayer hall, secondary worship and study rooms, and large event halls suitable for community gatherings, celebrations, and educational programmes. The building also includes specially constructed ritual immersion baths (Mikvah) and associated support facilities, delivered to exacting religious and technical standards.

The exterior architecture combines contemporary design with traditional elements, featuring natural stone finishes and laser-cut decorative details with engraved motifs. The scheme, designed by John Stebbin Architects, was developed following extensive consultation with local residents, the community, and the local authority.

The internal layout prioritises accessibility, circulation, and flexible communal use, creating a welcoming and practical environment for daily prayers, Shabbat services, festivals, and life-cycle events.

This development represents a significant investment in the future of the community, strengthening social connections and delivering a landmark building that will serve generations to come.
